Waltham Forest libraries have announced that they will no longer buy or supply CDs or DVDs which are purely for entertainment purposes.
The new ruling which came into place on April 1 means that only educational music and film discs will be available for rental.
Leytonstone Library however will hold the reserve stocks of CDs and DVDs which have been removed from other facilities. Anyone wishing to rent CDs and DVDs which do not hold educational content must now travel there to collect them at a reduced charge.
Any queries regarding the changes should be directed to a member of staff at any Waltham Forest library.
