Police are asking the public for help identifying a woman after a six-foot poster stand was pulled down and hit another person at Waterloo station.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 13, around 7.40pm, when a woman was seen shouting on a Jubilee line train before disembarking at Waterloo.

British Transport Police said she then headed towards the escalators and dislodged a six-foot poster stand, which hit the victim.

This caused an ankle injury requiring surgery and several days in hospital.

Officers believe the woman in the image may have information which could help with their investigation.

Anyone with further information is urged to notify BTP via text to 61016, a call to 0800 40 50 40, reference 515 of 13 February 2024—or use Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111 to stay anonymous.
