AN Egyptian bio-chemist seized by anti-terror police in connection with the 7/7 bomb attacks in London has been released without charge.
Magdy El-Nashar was arrested on July 15 in Cairo after the attacks which claimed 52 lives.
It is thought Mr El-Nashar admitted knowing two of the bombers, but vigorously denied any knowledge of the biggest terrorist strike on British soil.
Speaking from his home in Cairo, the 33-year-old said: "It was only when I was arrested in Egypt, and the police showed me pictures in the paper, that I realised that both men were connected with the bombings."
