Crash Landing on You, starring Hyun Bin as Ri Jeong-hyeok and Son Ye-jin as Yoon Se-ri, the drama was released in 2019 and was a hit at that time. It is now available on Netflix.
The plot starts with a businesswoman Yoon Se-ri, who is very rich and owns a fashion and beauty brand called Seri's Choice in South Korea. She is very successful and has a high impact on society, as the daughter of the company, the Queen's group. She is born rich, however, she does not have a great childhood, her mother died after she was born, and there was a misunderstanding between her and her stepmother when she was young leading to an unpleasant relationship between them. However, with her excellent business skills, her father decided to let her be the heir of the company. Her brothers did not accept her father's decision so they are constantly trying to get her spot. After she was announced as the heir, Se-ri went on paragliding and this was when she accidentally fell into North Korea and met Ri Jeong-hyeok, a member of the Korean People's Army. This started their romantic love story between a North Korean army and a South Korean entrepreneur.
This will always be one of my favourite dramas, it would make you burst into tears, joy with laughter and be touched by the love story. The plot is amazing and it includes everything you would want to see in a romance drama. The OST (original soundtrack) is also one of the most important reasons that would bring you into the drama because it reflects the mood perfectly, it will make you cry even more in a touching scene. I would highly recommend listening to their OSTs besides watching the drama.
