Michael Booth

Booth Michael Michael passed away on 20th December 2022 at home, aged 89 years. He was very proud to have been born in Yorkshire and lived there for many happy years until he came south to do his national service at Pirbright. He served his time here in Surrey in the Brigade of Coldstream Guards participated in street lining for the funeral of the King and the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. He met and married his wife, Eileen, before working at British Aerospace for most of his working life. He loved all things aeronautical especially the VC-10 and Concorde, spending many happy hours at airshows around the country with his family. He was well loved and will be sorely missed by his family: Elizabeth, Christopher, Heather and Paul, Andrew, and Alistair; his nieces Linda and Pauline and their families: Iain, Hannah and baby Jack; Alan, Ryan, Victoria and Lewis; Hayley, Chantelle and Kelston. Funeral will take place at Holy Trinity Church, West End on 26th January 2023 at 2.30pm. Instead of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Hearing Dogs for the Deaf which was a favourite charity of Dad's.
