A Royal Navy aircraft carrier is in Greenwich to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Falklands War.
HMS Ark Royal will be in Greenwich until June 18 and can be viewed by visitors from the pier throughout her stay.
Currently operating as a Commando helicopter carrier, the ship has just completed a training exercise in the Baltic Sea before taking on the leading command ship role with the Nato Response Force.
HMS Ark Royal is one of three Invincible Class aircraft carriers.
The ship is designed to carry Harrier jump jets but is due to be used to carry Sea King, Chinook, Lynx and Apache helicopters, as well as up to 400 Royal Marines.
From late summer, HMS Ark Royal will act as an on-call Nato flagship.
