Heritage rail travel operator The Railway Touring Company is running a series of steam rail day trips to great destinations this autumn and the Croydon Guardian has a Premier Family ticket (worth £495) and a First Class family ticket (worth £320) to give away to two lucky competition winners.
The special steam services promise a great day out with all the fun and nostalgia of the golden days of rail travel.
The steam season kicks off on Saturday, October 27, with The Sussex Explorer. Sixty years old, Brighton-built locomotive 34067 Tangmere will haul the Railway Touring Company's service from London Victoria and East Croydon to the attractive Sussex coast resort of Littlehampton.
Along its way this service will steam along the Uckfield line - this will be the first steam train over this line since British Railways withdrew steam in the early 1960s.
To be in with a chance of winning a Premier Family ticket or a First Class Family ticket for one of these steam days out answer the question below.
