In camp classic The Monster, Joan Collins (Dynasty) is Lucy Carlesi, a retired nightclub dancer, now in a happy marriage with a loving husband Gino. Things start to go wrong after the particularly difficult birth of their baby. The baby appears to dislike everyone, and seems intend on inflicting pain on whoever gets close to him, including his own mother. It is not long before the mere malice turns into bloodthirsty brutality, as the baby embarks on a blood-splattered rampage, killing, hurting and breaking anyone and anything in its path with its superhuman strength.
