QI Presents: Strictly Come Duncing is the latest interactive DVD release from Warner Music Entertainment. Taken from the hit BBC show, QI, released 26th November.

In the company of QI's resident Dunce Master, Stephen Fry, you will encounter Giant Larvaceans, otter wrestling, The Social Feather Duster Worm, Charles the Fat and amorous beavers. You'll also be on first name terms with Cratwell, Pascha Rose and Stump-Leg.

Despite its name, QI Presents: Strictly Come Duncing has very little to do with dancing, and absolutely nothing to do with presents. Players (known as 'Duncers') can play up to 36 different themed quizzes each of which contains 10 multiple-choice questions. You can either do battle with a friend or challenge QI's resident Stud muffin, Alan Davies.

QI isn't really about pointless information, or shoring up vast banks of trivia, it's about finding undiscovered connections and seeing hidden patterns, just like the best comedy.

After all, curiosity is hardwired in all of us; we just lose the ability to indulge it. "The lust of the mind", Thomas Hobbes called it, "that exceedeth the short vehemence of any carnal pleasure". There you have it, and from a philosopher not a press release. QI: better than sex.
