No part of the areas of East London covered by the Guardian has lost more pubs than Walthamstow - and this week we take a look at some that have closed over the years.
The Lost Pubs Project archives the decline of the English pub on its website www.closedpubs.co.uk and having looked at those pubs that pulled their finals pints in Leyton and Leytonstone and Wanstead, we move on to those that have pulled their final pints in E17.

The Coach & Horses was located at 63 St James Street
The Cock Tavern was at 67 High Street

The Councillors Arms could be found at 67 Erskine Road
