A nursery has played a key role in piloting an innovative new Early Years curriculum across all Bright Horizons nurseries in England.
Bright Horizons Epping Day Nursery and Preschool was one of the pilot nurseries to introduce Bright Beginnings, a pioneering curriculum which focuses on children’s emotional wellbeing as the key to learning.
The curriculum is designed to acknowledge the individual voice and needs of each child to promote confidence, wellbeing and a genuine love for learning.
Caroline Wright, director of early childhood, said: “We believe that every child deserves the best start in life. As well as nurturing a lifelong love of learning, Bright Beginnings helps set the foundations for emotional resilience. At the heart of our approach to developing our new curriculum has been the development of our Early Childhood Philosophy, which puts children at the centre of our practice."
