A 19-year-old woman suffered 'slash wounds' in a stabbing on Bexley High Street this afternoon (Wednesday, July 21).
The attack took place around 5.24pm on Wednesday evening, when paramedics with London Ambulance Service (LAS) were called to the scene.
They and Met Police officers attended and found the 19-year-old woman who was targeted.
Responding to a request from News Shopper, a spokesperson for LAS said: "We were called at 5:24pm today (21 July) to reports of a stabbing on Bexley High Street, Bexley.

"We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and a clinical team leader to the scene. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
"We treated a person at the scene and took them to hospital as a priority."
The Met Police told News Shopper that the victim had suffered "slash wounds".
A spokesperson for the Met said: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at approximately 17:28hrs on Wednesday, 21 July to Bexley High Street to reports of a stabbing.

Met Police say at 5:28pm they were called to Bexley High Street to reports of a stabbing.
The teenagers condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

"Officers attended the scene and found a 19-year-old woman with slash wounds.
"At this stage, her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made."
Images posted online, reportedly taken at the scene of the incident, showed a police crime scene and cordon in place.
Bexley High Street is closed in both directions.
