Police are urgently searching for a 12-year-old girl who has been missing for more than 36 hours.
Mannat Mann was last seen near Wanstead Park at 1.45pm on Thursday (July 22).
The Metropolitan Police is growing concerned for Mannat because she has only recently moved to the area and therefore is not familiar with her surroundings.
Detective Sergeant Gurps Singh says "extensive enquiries" are being carried out to find Mannat.
She was last seen in Wanstead Park, Redbridge, on Thursday. Mannat, who is Asian with long dark hair, was wearing a white t-shirt and grey leggings with a white stripe.
Since Thursday, police say there has been one possible sighting around a mile from Wanstead Park and a CCTV image has been issued by the Met.
Other than that, there have been no reports of sightings.
Mannat has no local links having moved down from the West Midlands recently.
She has relatives in Hounslow in west London and may try to make her way to the area but the majority of her ties are with Wolverhampton in the West Midlands.
The Met says it is working with officers in those areas as part of the search for Mannat.
Those in and around Wanstead Park are being asked to help police if they can.
DS Singh, of the Met's East Area Command Unit, said: "Every set of eyes is a valuable resource. I’d urge anyone who lives in the Wanstead Park area to check their dash-cam and doorbell footage from Thursday afternoon and to contact police if they have captured any sightings of Mannat.
"We are also keeping an open mind as to whether she has travelled outside the London area, possibly back to the West Midlands."
He stressed: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Mannat’s wellbeing.
"Our priority is to bring her home safely and any information that can assist in that effort could be vital."
Anyone who sees Mannat should call police on 999, providing the reference CAD8090/23JUL. Call 101 if you have information about where she may be or footage that may help with her search.
