A man has been accused of attacking his flatmate with a pair of shears then going into the centre of Woolwich and attacking random members of the public.
More details have been released after police were called to reports of a man with a knife on Plumstead Road early on Saturday morning (July 31).
A man inside a residential address in Woolwich suffering with stab injuries and a short while later a woman was attacked on Plumstead Road, with some reports that the woman suffered a stab injury to the hand.
Both victims were taken to hospital, and a 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene by officers.
Met Police have charged Anton Rhoden, 27, with two counts of attempted murder following last week's incidents.
They have now disclosed that he is believed to have "attacked his flatmate" using a pair of shears, leaving him with stab injuries.
The suspect is then alleged to have gone into central Woolwich with the same weapon and then started attacking random members of the public.
He allegedly inflicted an injury on a female, but this has not been judged as life threatening.
