Two missing children have been found in Dartford and a man arrested on suspicion of abduction.

Kent Police said that after an appeal from Cheshire Police about the welfare of two children missing from the area.

Earlier this week one of the Dartford policing teams managed to locate the two missing children in north Kent, and they have now been safeguarded.

Kent Police said a male had been arrested on suspicion of abduction in relation to the children's disappearance.

The police force are working with Cheshire Police on the investigation.
