A man has been arrested after people in Dartford were being threatened with a hammer.
Members of the public told police that a man was "in possession of a hammer threatening people".
Kent Police arrested the man on suspicion of affray.
The weapon has been recovered and will be "booked into property for distruction" according to officers.

Kent Police revealed what had happened on social media.
Officers tweeted: "LPT3 have arrested a male for Affray following reports from the public that a male was in possession of a hammer threatening people in #Dartford.
"Weapon recovered and will be booked into property for destruction. #KeepingDartfordSafe CAD 18-0001. JC"
