Over 100 firefighters tackled a blaze in a hotel in Battersea last night, with two people rescued from the building and several more treated by ambulance crews at the scene.
The London Fire Brigade were called to a fire at 11:32pm on August 28 at the mixed-use commercial and residential building on Lombard Road in south west London.
A hotel room on the second floor was alight, and was badly damaged in the blaze, whilst smoke logging had reached most of the upper floors of the building.
Station Commander Sacha Clement, who was at the scene, said, said firefighters had "worked incredibly hard to bring the fire under control and stop the fire from spreading further."

Around 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines tackled the fire, but the Brigade's 999 control officers had already given vital survival guidance to a person inside the building on how to stay safe until they arrived.
A man was rescued by firefighters from the second floor via a ladder, and a woman was rescued by crews wearing breathing apparatus via an internal staircase using a fire escape hood.
Two people were taken to hospital and two further people were treated on scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The fire was under control by 1:25am on Sunday, and the cause is under investigation.
