A man died after a fatal crash on the A40 early this morning.
Police were called to reports of a crash on the westbound carriageway of the A40 in Ruislip today (September 4) at 6.10am.
After attending, it appeared that a car drove off the road and a man, believed to be the driver of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details on the victim have been provided as the next of kin are yet to be informed.
At the moment road closures remain in place as investigations continue.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing, and no arrests have been made so far.
The Met Police is keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam or other video footage of the incident.
