Following the stopping of services from running between Gatwick Airport, Purley and East Croydon at around 8.30am, all lines are now back open.
Thameslink has warned, however, that services are still being "heavily impacted" by this morning's disruption, and that delays, alterations and cancellations all remain possible.
If possible, passengers are being advised to travel later today due to journey times being extended by around an hour.
Please travel later today if you can. If you travel now, your journey will likely be extended by around an hour. You should allow plenty of extra time.
