There are severe delays on the M25 around the QE2 bridge and Dartford Crossing this afternoon.
AA Maps has offered a series of updates on the traffic.
According to the traffic service, at the Queen Elizabeth II bridge there are "long delays" and twelve miles of traffic on the M25 clockwise.
The congestion goes back to junction 28, the A18 westbound and routes around Lakeside.
The travel time is 55 minutes as a result of a broken down lorry and crash earlier in the day.
There are also severe delays of 37 minutes between junction 3 on the M20 and junction 1 at Swanley Interchange and A282 Canterbury Way.
The average speed is ten mph.
AA Maps has also reported delays of 28 minutes which are increasing on the M25 clockwise between between J28 A12 (Brentwood / Brook Street Roundabout) and J31 A282 Canterbury Way (Lakeside / Purfleet).
The average speed is 15 mph.
