A pedestrian has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car.
Emergency services were rushed to the A41 in Edgware earlier this afternoon (Saturday).
The Metropolitan Police force said there had been a collision involving a car and a male pedestrian.
“The male has gone to hospital,” a force spokesperson said.
They added that police are awaiting an update on his condition.
Police have shut the road in the direction heading towards Apex Corner as emergency services work at the scene.
The entrance to the A41 from Broadhurst Avenue has also been blocked by police.
This has been causing delays on Broadfields Avenue and motorists approaching the incident on the A41 are being diverted onto the road.
Police have been contacted for more information.
