Two robbers armed with hand axes, wearing masks stole a number of watches from a jewellery store in Epping.
Police were contacted on Monday (27 September) at around 11.20am following a report of a robbery at Luxe Watches shop in the highstreet.
Various watches were stolen it is believed the men left the scene in a grey or silver Mini.
None of the staff were injured.
No arrests have been made and police enquiries are ongoing.
Essex Police are appealing for information or witnesses following a robbery.
Detective Inspector Yoni Adler, investigating, said, “We would like the public to help us and would ask anyone who was in the vicinity at the time to check their dash cam footage to see if they have captured anything that may help our investigation.
“Perhaps you captured someone acting suspiciously at the location or you saw a grey or silver Mini parked nearby.”
