An Epping man who dealt Class B cannabis cakes has been given a suspended prison sentence and slapped with a fine.
Charlie Gough, 32, of North Weald was arrested in May last year after acting with an accomplice to supply the cakes to people in Brentwood.
The defendant ran an Instagram account for the use of his business and had branded packaging for the cakes.
He was sentenced at Basildon Magistrates Court on Thursday, October 28.
He pleaded guilty to intent to supply a controlled drug of class B.
Gough was committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 12 months and ordered to do 200 hours of unpaid work.
He was also given a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to pay £273 prosecution costs.
