On the 22nd of october the Barking history mural was finished. It was made to mark Barkings amazing heritage and the artist was Jake Attewell. Through his creative design and amazing artistic ideas for the mural, Jake won the hearts of the people of Barking. The artwork can be seen on the side of a Mc'Donalds on east street and this mural marked the rich and vibrant heritage of Barking. Many of the older residents described it as "A walk down memory lane" implying that Jake was successful in highlighting Barking's history and making the people proud.
