A new college education facility is coming to the heart of Wembley.
The United Colleges Group, which consists of the College of North West London and City of Westminster College, will bring the new facility at the Olympic Office Centre in Wembley, just near Wembley Park Station.
The site is currently at stage one and once complete the new facility will offer opportunities to people of all ages to improve their skills and advance their careers.
Green skills, including engineering and the built environment, will be the focus of the new facility which will also offer classes in digital technology, computing, and health and social care subjects.
Students with supported learning requirements and those for whom English is a second language are also said to find themselves with a wide range of opportunities to choose from.
Stephen Davis, CEO of the United Colleges Group, said: “I am thrilled to be able to announce the United Colleges Group’s ground-breaking plans for a world-class education facility at the heart of our Brent community.
“Our new site will bring more education, training, and skills opportunities for the residents of Brent and the wider London community and will provide the community with an important place to work and learn.
“With its focus on green skills and emerging technologies, we are also pleased to say that our new location will enable us not just to provide a boost to the present generation but will do so for many generations to come.”
