A man was fined more than £800 and given a driving ban after being caught behind the wheel uninsured in Bexley.
Ricky Philby, 61, of Riverdale Road, Erith, was found to have driven his Ford along Erith Road at around 4pm on May 25 last year without insurance, in breach of the Road Traffic Act.
He was slapped with a £816 fine for the offence during a hearing at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on December 15 after being found guilty.
This included an initial £660 fine, £66 to fund victim services and costs of £90.
He was also banned from driving for seven months and given six points on his license.
