Since Saturday the 12th of February, Brooklands Community Park opened itself up to Beach’s Valentines Fun Fair that lasted for 2 weeks, due to Storm Eunice.
I, and a group of friends, went on the last day of the funfair with almost no expectation of what it was going to be like. Our group goes to funfairs together a lot so we can pick out a good one.
The overall first impression of the fair was very positive, and this continued throughout the day. The level of adrenaline you got with each ride was very varied, so there was something for everyone.
I can’t deal with the Waltzer, which spins you round thousands of times, but I absolutely love the Super Trooper, so there’s a variety of different types of rides that range in movement, speed, and direction.
Honey, who went to this particular fair twice, said “I usually go to funfairs once a month and this was definitely my favourite I’ve been to.”
Overall, the funfair was a lovely and inexpensive way to spend a day with friends, and I would definitely recommend all of Beach’s funfairs across the UK.
