Sadlers Taxis of Loughton, seen here c1906, had large livery stables (now M&S) situated next to the old Crown Inn.
It was established around 1869 and is thought to be one of the oldest surviving family-run businesses in the Epping Forest district.
From early horse drawn hackneys to the first petrol engine taxi driven in the 1920s, Sadlers has kept up with the latest car technology and continues its traditional values of service.
