Bromley residents are given a final chance to apply for the Queen’s Platinum street party scheme.
This comes after a £30,000 grant was confirmed by Bromley Council last month.
Residents who are interested in hosting a street party must apply through the council website by March 10.
This was announced after the Queen became the first British monarch to celebrate a platinum jubilee, marking 70 years of her services.
More than 200 applicants have applied for street parties across the borough between June 2 to 5.
Councillor Peter Morgan, executive councillor for Renewal, Recreation and Housing said: “Her Majesty has been an ever-present figure in our national life for all of us and I am really pleased to see so many residents planning street parties to celebrate and commemorate this magnificent feat, which will not happen again in our lifetime.
“There is still time to apply for those who are still interested.
“We are planning a range of celebratory events, from outdoor concerts and film screenings to children’s activities, like art competitions and puppet shows.
“Please look out for further details which we will share when available.”
Party organisers are not required to have public liability insurance cover for their event, but it is “strongly recommended” as events will not be covered by the council’s insurance.
Applicants are advised to summarise their intentions for the celebration before applying.
