A woman in her 40s has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Croydon.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash at around 4.25pm yesterday (March 4) in Rectory Grove.
She was taken to hospital for treatment where her condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
The car stopped at the scene as enquiries into the circumstances continue.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called at approximately 4.25pm on Saturday, 5 March to reports of a car in collision with a female pedestrian in Rectory Grove, Croydon.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended – the woman (aged in her 40s) has been taken to hospital for treatment; condition assessed as not life-threatening.
“The car stopped at the scene.
“Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
