A man in his 50s has been released under investigation after a class A drugs arrest in Bexley.
Officers reportedly stopped the man who was driving a car at around 12.45pm on March 3 in Eynsford Crescent.
He was arrested for allegedly being in possession and concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
He was taken into custody and then subsequently released under investigation.
Enquiries are being continued by police.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “At approximately 12.45pm on Thursday, 3 March officers on patrol in Bexley stopped a car in the vicinity of Eynsford Crescent, Bexley.
“The driver of the car – a man in his 50s – was arrested for possession of class A drugs and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
“He was taken into custody and subsequently released under investigation.
“Enquiries remain ongoing.”
