A Volkswagen driver from Bexleyheath has been fined more than £500 after speeding in Lewisham.

Scott Woods of Parkside Avenue in Bexleyheath was caught speeding at 36mph in Brookmill Road which has a 20mph speed limit on July 29, 2021.

The 33-year-old admitted to the offence and was ordered to pay £522 during a single justice procedure at Bromley Magistrates' Court on March 1, 2022.

This includes a £384 fine, £38 to fund victim services and costs of £100.

He was also given four points on his driving licence.

The speed was recorded with a Pro Laser 4 camera.

The fine for the offence must be paid by March 25, 2022.
