Broadway Shopping Centre in Bexleyheath has been evacuated and closed as police are at the scene.
Pictures from the centre show that there is a police cordon surrounding the centre which is located in Bexleyheath Broadway.
The centre's Twitter account told shoppers "please be advised the shopping centre has been evacuated and is currently closed" at 12.07pm today.
It apologised for any inconvenience and assured customers it will update them when it has further information and when it is able to reopen.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 10:37hrs on Tuesday, 15 March, to reports of a bomb threat at a shopping centre on Albion Road, Bexley.
"The area has been evacuated as a precaution.
"Officers are currently in attendance and the incident is ongoing.
"This incident is not being treated as terror related."
