A man has died following a crash on the M25 near Epping Forest yesterday (Monday, March 14).
Emergency services were called to reports of a single-vehicle crash on the anticlockwise carriageway between junctions 27 (Epping) and 28 (Brentwood) at around 2.30pm.
A man in his 50s was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition but later died, police have now confirmed.
His next of kin have been informed and no arrests have been made.
An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage of it to get in touch with us if they have not already spoken to us.”

The incident caused the stretch to be closed and long delays throughout the rest of the day.
In a separate incident this morning (Tuesday), an air ambulance was called to another collision on the same stretch this morning.
