Earlier this month, a new name to the area, Haute Dolci opened their doors in St. George’s Shopping Centre, Harrow. They specialise in deserts, but with a luxury twist.
Haute Dolci is a luxury restaurant brand, with sites across the country, already in Cheshire Oaks, Trafford Centre, Birmingham Star City, Leicester, Leeds, Bradford, Wembley, Preston, Boltin, Blackburn, and Coventry, and now Harrow. A new branch in Ilford is listed as ‘Coming Soon’ on their website.
Haute Dolce has been operating for 12 years, and the most recently opened restaurant, before Harrow, was Preston in December.
On their website, it states ‘Haute Dolci® has been twelve years in the making, ten years of honing and refining the creative vision that made Heavenly Desserts the successful brand it is today.’
The new restaurant opened on the previous site of Frankie & Benny’s in St. Georges, with both sweet and savoury options. The St. George’s Shopping Centre in the Harrow Town Centre is situated next to St. Annes, and both took a big hit during the peak of the pandemic. Frankie and Benny’s St. George’s closed their doors to the public, when the chain announced they would be closing 125 sites in June 2020.
Although Haute Dolci specialises in sweet treats, they have partnered with IceBurg, a gourmet burger company.
Just from the outside, the restaurant looks appealing and upbeat, with cherry blossom décor, and soft pink lighting. There is indoor and outdoor seating, the main feature being the big cherry blossom tree in the centre, with tables surrounding the impressive feature.
They are open from 12:00 till 18:00, Monday-Thursday, and 12:00 till 22:00, Friday-Sunday.
Haute Dolci is rapidly expanding and hopefully will open more of their contemporary and interesting restaurants in London!
