The driver of a BMW has been fined more than £300 after being caught drink driving in Lewisham.
Mohammed Ahmed, of Leyland Road in Lewisham, was stopped while driving in Lee Road on March 20, 2022.
There was 52 microgrammes of alcohol in a sample of 100 millilitres of Ahmed’s breath - which exceeds the 35 micrograms limit.
The 29-year-old was fined £369 for the offence during a hearing at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on April 20, 2022.
This includes a £250 fine, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £85.
He was also disqualified from driving for 36 months.
His disqualification can be reduced by 13 weeks if he completes a course by November 19, 2022, which must be approved by the Secretary of State.
The fine must be paid in instalments of £100 per month starting from May 18, 2022.
