THERE is no denying that us south east Londoners know how to have a great night out.

Nowadays we have the likes of ATIK and Pure which are always busy on Friday and Saturday nights.

But do you remember some of the classic nightclubs such as Bon Bonne, Flamingos, or the Dun Cow?

The News Shopper asked its readers what the best nightclubs were back in the day in south east London.

So, we put together a collection of some of the venues we all have missed the most.

Here is what our readers had to say:

Bon Bonne:

Bon Bonne, which operated in the 1990s, was an all-around favourite for our readers.

The lively club in Herne Hill saw generations of people hit the dancefloor in its 30 years of opening.

Since then, Bon Bonne lived on through a night in Chislehurst club, The Lounge, which hosted bi-monthly reunions with the club's original DJs.
