Greenwich local election results 2022: Labour holds

The Conservative Party came in second, winning just three seats.

Greenwich’s Conservative Party leader Nigel Fletcher lost his seat as councillor for Eltham Town and Avery Hill.

The overall voter turnout for the Greenwich borough was 33.4 per cent and there were 64,004 verified ballot papers submitted.

In the last local election 2018 the council for Royal Borough of Greenwich was elected to be made up of 42 Labour and nine Conservative councillors.

Labour gained seven seats in comparison to the previous local election in 2018.
