The front of a bus has been smashed after it crashed into a building on Sutton High Street.
Police were called to Sutton High Street at 12.40 today to reports that a bus had collided with a building.
The crash occurred on the junction of Sutton High Street and Bushey Road.
No passengers were on the bus and the driver was not injured.
Police enforced safety cordons while the damage to the building was assessed and a lamppost made safe.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 12:39hrs on Saturday, 7 May to reports of a bus in collision with a building at High Street, Sutton.
“There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the collision and no persons were injured.
“Safety cordons and closures were established while the damage to the building was assessed and a lamppost made safe.
“There were no arrests.”
