A team of Harlow councillors, council staff and HTS officially launched Harlow’s Big Spring Clean 2022.
The team filled 30 bags and collected one dumped shopping trolley and two highway cones when they picked up litter in the housing estates and green spaces around the Latton Bush Centre on Monday.
Harlow’s Big Spring Clean will run until June 25 and this year is part of Harlow’s 75th anniversary celebrations. The annual spring clean brings together individuals, community organisations, businesses, and schools to make a difference to their local environment.
This year more than 1,000 residents from 60 different groups are set to take part. The council will be supplying all the equipment needed and arranging the collection of bags.
