Station Road near Chingford Plains c1903.
The picture shows the Victoria Coffee Palace serving refreshments to the bank holiday visitors as it did so for many years.
By 1928, the property was part occupied by the newly-formed Chingford Golf Club.
In the 1960s the club purchased the building from the Crispin family and it still survives today.
