A new mayor has been elected for Dartford.
Councillor Paul Cutler was elected during the annual Council meeting on May 11.
He was first elected to Dartford Council in 2012 by representing the Stone Castle Ward.
Members of the Council elect a new mayor at the general meetings which takes place every 12 months.
Councillor Cutler has lived in Stone for nearly 28 years.
He is originally from Greenwich.
Most recently he worked at The Leigh UTC at the Bridge development before retirement beckoned.
The Mayor’s Charity Appeal for 2022 and 2023 will support three charities.
These are Care for Veterans, Cancer Research UK, and the Arrow Riding School.
He spent also lived in Manhattan, New York City, for a year in his early 20’s.
