THE driver of a car has been taken to hospital after crashing into street furniture in Erith.
Police were called to Howbury Lane at the junction with Perry Lane.
The incident happened today (May 18) shortly before 7.15am.
Officers say the driver is believed to have suffered a medical episode.
The driver was then taken to hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called at 7.12am on May 18 after a car collided with street furniture in Howbury Lane, junction Perry Lane, Erith.
“The driver is thought to have suffered a medical episode and was taken to hospital.
“No other injuries.”
