A man accused of murdering a woman and her father faces a provisional trial next year.
Achilleas Costa, 53, is alleged to have fatally stabbed 31-year-old Fernanda Assis and Joanilson Assis, 61, at an address in Wood Green on Sunday November 28 last year.
Metropolitan Police officers had been called with paramedics to Mayes Road shortly after 9.30am after concerns were raised for the welfare of someone inside a property.
The father and daughter were found unresponsive having suffered stab wounds, and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Costa, of no fixed address, was charged with two counts of murder.
On Wednesday, he appeared at the Old Bailey by video-link from custody before Mr Justice Murray.
The senior judge set an updated timetable for the case, with a plea hearing on September 30 and a provisional trial from February 20 next year.
