Dance lovers can learn Caribbean steps and moves at a huge Jubilee dance party at Wembley Park.
Led by dance institutions Rambert and Pineapple Dance Studios, the event will see the area transformed into a festival for the day to mark Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
On the Saturday (June 4) there will be live music, dance classes, circus performances, street theatre and more.
Several group dance events will take place. Rambert will be delivering a free Caribbean Niceness dance class, delving into the positivity of soca and reggae vibes with teacher Sheba Montserrat.
Sheba will be sharing the history of the moves, with children and adults welcome to join in and learn about Caribbean and Black British history as they learn the steps.
There will be various other dance classes being held including ‘dance Tik Tok style’ and street/hip hop classes.
Attendees will be given dance passports upon arrival to gain stamps as they join each class or visit other attractions by the stadium.
