Four budding actors have won the chance to perform in front of professional theatre directors as part of a major training programme.
Northwood College for Girls students competed in auditions with around 7,000 young people to take part in the National Youth Theatre programme.
Pupils Ammara, Annabel, Mansi and Rihanna, from Years 10 to 13 were among the 600 to 700 offered a place in the theatre’s summer workshops.
By the end of the course, they will have the opportunity to audition for London productions each year up to the age of 26.
Headteacher Rebecca Brown said: “I know all four of these students will thrive as members of the NYT and I look forward to hearing about their experience in September.”
