A man has been arrested after a knife was found on a train at Plumstead station.
Officers responded to reports of a man with a knife near Plumstead on June 11 shortly before 2.40pm.
A 34-year-old man was then arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article.
He was also arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “British Transport Police received a report of a man with a knife on-board a train near Plumstead at 2.39pm on 11 June.
“Officers met the train at Plumstead station and a 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article and possession of cannabis.”
