Firefighters tackled a blaze in a cornfield yesterday.
Around five hectares of standing corn were on fire at Nurstead Lane in Longfield, Dartford.
Seven fire engines along with two additional vehicles from Kent Fire and Rescue Service were sent to the blaze.
It broke out at around 3.30pm and was brought under control an hour later, by 4.30pm.

There were no injuries and the cause is now under investigation.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: “We was called to Nurstead Lane to reports of approximately five hectares of standing corn alight.
“Seven fire engines and two all-terrain vehicles attended, and crews put the fire out using hose reel jets, beaters and a fogging unit.”
