The GP Patient Survey has revealed how doctor’s surgeries in Lewisham were rated for 2022.
Patients have had their say on the service their GP provides in an annual survey carried out by the NHS.
The survey includes categories such as how easy it is to get an appointment, whether appointments are in person, and how helpful the receptionists are.
We’ve searched through the results of the 33 GP surgeries in Lewisham to find the best and worst rated surgeries for overall experience.
Oakview Family Practice and Lee Road Surgery came out on top, both with a high satisfaction rate of 92 per cent, making them the joint best-rated GP surgeries out of all 126 across Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, and Lewisham.
On the other end of the scale, New Cross Centre was at the bottom with just 45 per cent of patients saying they had a good overall experience.
The nine next worst-rated GP surgeries in Lewisham were:
- Sydenham Green Group Practice – 48 per cent
- Woodlands Health Centre – 51 per cent
- Hilly Fields Medical Centre – 57 per cent
- The QRP Surgery – 59 per cent
- Triangle Group Practice – 60 per cent
- Vesta Road Surgery – 60 per cent
- Novum Health Partnership – 60 per cent
- Honor Oak Group Practice – 62 per cent
- Morden Hill Surgery – 63 per cent
After Oakview Family Practice and Lee Road Surgery, the eight best-rated GP surgeries were:
- Nightingale Surgery – 85 per cent
- Clifton Rise Family Practice – 82 per cent
- Deptford Medical Centre – 81 per cent
- Bellingham Green Surgery – 80 per cent
- Vale Medical Centre – 78 per cent
- The Jenner Practice – 78 per cent
- Belmont Hill Surgery – 78 per cent
- Grove Medical Centre – 77 per cent
