AN outbuilding has been destroyed after a house fire in Bexleyheath.
Firefighters were called to reports of a house fire on Olron Crescent in Bexleyheath yesterday just before 3pm.
The outbuilding, belonging to a neighbouring property, was destroyed by the fire.
Part of the loft of a semi-detached house and part of an adjoining garage was also damaged by the blaze.
There were no reports of any injuries, and the fire was under control by 4.51pm.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters from Sidcup, Eltham and Erith fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Olron Crescent in Bexleyheath.
“Part of the loft of a semi-detached house was damaged by fire.
“Part of an adjoining garage was also damaged by the blaze and an outbuilding belonging to a neighbouring property was destroyed.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade's 999 Control Officers have taken 10 calls to the fire.
“The Brigade was called at 1456 and the fire was under control by 1651.
“Fire crews from Sidcup, Eltham and Erith fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
